Privacy Statement
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This statement explains how Limula SA processes personal data through limula.ch, our forms, our newsletter and our business contacts, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Job applications are covered by a separate policy on our recruitment platform.
Who we are
Limula SA, Route de la Corniche 5, 1066 Epalinges, Switzerland, is responsible for this processing. Contact: info@limula.ch.
What we collect and why
- Business enquiries and relationships. When you contact us, download a document or meet us at an event, we use your contact details and what you tell us to respond, provide the document and develop business relationships. Basis: steps before a contract and our legitimate interest.
- Newsletter. If you tick the optional box on our forms, we use your name, company and email to send quarterly updates. Basis: consent.
- Analytics and embedded videos. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records how you use our website (for example pages viewed, downloads, form submissions, traffic source, approximate location and device), and YouTube videos can load. Basis: consent.
- Security and spam protection. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address to keep the website secure, and Google reCAPTCHA checks form submissions for spam. Basis: legitimate interest.
Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If we obtained your details from someone other than you, for example at an event or from LinkedIn, we tell you the source when we first contact you.
Analytics in detail. Google Analytics sets cookies only if you accept them. If you decline, it receives only limited signals without cookies or identifiers, such as a page view. We record that a form was submitted, never what you type. Google’s data sharing settings are switched off, so Google does not use this data for its own purposes. We treat Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals as a refusal.
Cookies
Our website uses necessary cookies and, only with your consent, analytics and video cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage consent” tab on our website. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use.
Service providers and transfers
We use service providers for website hosting, email, customer relationship management, newsletters, analytics and spam protection, who process data on our behalf. Some of them process data in Switzerland, the European Union and the United States. For the United States, we rely on the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example for the duration of our business relationship, and as long as the law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, and analytics data for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format, by writing to info@limula.ch. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to the data protection authority where you live or work.
